Through the Smoke

Today is Giving Tuesday. As I look at my life, I am so thankful for all of those who have given to me, and the mission of Brussels. I am so blessed by each one of you.

I am at 41% of my annual goal, just over $23,000 a year. I would love for you to consider joining my Brussels team. Given the recent events in Europe, I have felt more called then ever to reach the people in Brussels.

For those of your who do not know, the city was on lock down from the 21st to the 25th of November. Since the attacks in Paris, I have many people ask if I am still planning on moving to Brussels. If anything, the events of the last few weeks have broken my heart even more, and made the need so much more clear. Instead of running away, I want to take this chance to show love and kindness to those who are living in fear. I want to use this heartbreaking time to show the true love, grace, and forgiveness that lives in the gospel. I don’t want to live in fear of the Good News, instead, let the recent events in Europe be used to create a holy movement throughout the world.

My goal is still to be in Europe in late winter. I can not get there alone. I would love to connect with you about joining my team on a monthly or one time basis.

Today, I challenge you to pray for Europe. Pray for me and my team as we reach kids who are living in fear of the unknown. May they find peace the is in Jesus. Pray that through the smoke there is peace and hope in Europe. The Lord has broken my heart for Europe, and I pray that he has broken yours as well.

And now, behold, I am going to Jerusalem, constrained by the Spirit, not knowing what will happen to me there, except that the Holy Spirit testifies to me in every city that imprisonment and afflictions await me.” –Acts 20:22-23
