The Joy of a Third

I am so excited to announce that I have reached a major landmark in my fundraising journey, I have raised over 35% of my annual goal. I first want to thank everyone who has committed to joining me on this exciting chapter. I remain humbled by the love shown by so many.

Preparing to leave for Brussels has stretched me more than I anticipated. There is something to be said about laying yourself on the line for a mission, and I have gained a new love and appreciation for everyone who has gone before me.

The need to great– in Spokane, Washington, the United States, Africa, etc. The world needs the hope of the Gospel. My heart has been broken for Europe and the children in Brussels. I would love nothing more than to wake up there tomorrow. During the time I have learned to lean on the Lord, as His timing is good. I am trusting in His prevision and relying on Him to guide the journey.

I have leaned on Him for the first third and am again relying on him for the remaining 65%. Thank you to everyone who has partnered with me through prayer and financial support. It means the world to me. Please continue to keep me in your prayers as the remaining 65% provided.

In this time, I am reminded of my favorite Bible verse, “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:1-2 NIV. No matter what, may we live our lives with endurance, always focusing our eyes on the Lord.

Thank you for helping me reach a world of kids.

Love Always,
